Alliances & Joint Ventures Compudyne, Logistic in pact Our Bureau
BANGALORE: Compudyne Winfosystems has agreed to form a business partnership with Logistic Solutions Inc (LSI) to offer BPO services in the areas of media-animation and VFX, legal-linguistics, and healthcare BPO-specifically radiology. Logistic Solutions is a US-based software service company operating in the areas of telecommunications, finance, pharmaceutical, wireless, healthcare and educational markets. As per the understanding, Logistic Solutions will give Compudyne a business of about $4 million in the first year, $8 million in the second year, and $12-15 million in the third year, the company said in a notice to the Bombay Stock Exchange. Compudyne will utilise its existing capacity of 250 seats, which can be increased to 500 seats to execute these orders. Logistic Solutions is also planning to take 20-25 per cent stke in Compudyne, subject to the approval of shareholders and other regulatory authorities in India.
