Financial Performance Finolex Cables Q3 net up 52 pc Our Bureau
Pune , Jan. 19 THE Pune-based Finolex Cables Ltd (FCL) has recorded an increase of 52 per cent in net and 10 per cent in total income for the quarter ended December 2003. According to an official release, FCL registered total income of Rs 120.75 crore as against Rs 115.60 crore recorded for the corresponding previous period. Net profit during the period touched Rs 7.19 crore, up from Rs 4.71 crore earlier. Earnings per share (EPS) stood at Rs 2.35 as against Rs 1.54 earlier. Cash earnings per share stood at Rs 4.55, compared to Rs 3.50 for the corresponding previous period. Income and net profit has been attributed to better sales and sales realisation. For the nine months ended December 2003, the company registered an increase of 12 per cent in total income, which touched Rs 404.93 crore compared to Rs 360.36 crore earlier.
