Blue Dart Q3 net at Rs 7 cr

BLUE Dart Express Ltd has reported a net profit of Rs 7.02 crore in the third quarter of the current fiscal, which is 32 per cent more than that of the corresponding period of last fiscal.

The company, which had its board meeting here on Tuesday, has recorded an income of Rs 89.88 crore, up by 17.5 per cent.

According to Mr Clyde Cooper, Managing Director, Blue Dart would continue to invest in its retail and service facilities, with 14 more in the process of being commissioned in different parts of the country.

"We added a fourth aircraft to out B737 freighter fleet to enhance our carrying capacity. The returns from these investments should be evident from the next financial year." Through its sales alliance with DHL Worldwide Express, the company offers a global reach to its customers.
