CellExchange to invest $2 m more

CELLEXCHANGE Inc, the US-based business improvement technology solutions provider, plans to expand its India operations with about $2 million investment this year and doubling of its headcount to 200.

The Vice-President, Operations, CellExchange India, Mr Y. Ramesh Reddy, and the Head-Quality, Mr Srinivasa Reddy, said that the company was focussing on expanding the role of India development centre. It provides real-time enterprise solutions covering human capital management, homeland security and threat detection, electronic document processing and distribution in defence, Government and utilities segments.

The company, which currently handles about 33 per cent of its work out of its global development centre in Hyderabad, expects to increase it to about 80 per cent over the next two years bringing down its onsite engagement. The Indian subsidiary had an investment of about $1.5 million over the last few years, they said addressing a press conference here on Tuesday.
