Software Info-Tech - Financial Performance Blue Star Infotech Q3 net up 41 pc Our Bureau
Mumbai , Jan. 20 BLUE Star Infotech Ltd has recorded a 41 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 5.2 crore for the quarter-ended December 31, 2003 compared with Rs 3.7 crore in the corresponding quarter the previous year. The software services provider posted Rs 25.8 crore in consolidated sales revenue, a 42-per cent growth compared with Rs 18.1 crore during the same period last year, according to a company release. For the nine-months ended December 31, 2003, sales revenue stood at Rs 74.3 crore, a 30-per cent growth over Rs 57.2 crore during the previous year's corresponding period. Net profit at Rs 15.9 crore (Rs 12.5 crore) reflected a 27 per cent growth. Europe contributed 23 per cent of the company's revenue and the US accounted for 50 per cent, with the offshore to onsite ratio at 90:10. On its guidance for the year-ending March 31, 2004, the company has revised its guidance to project growth of over 25 per cent in consolidated revenue and net profit against the earlier guidance of 20 per cent.
