New head for Dr Reddy's in N. America

Hyderabad , Jan. 20

DR Reddy's Laboratories Ltd has roped in a top official of GlaxoSmithkline, Dr Dennis Langer, to head its North American operations.

Dr Langer held various management positions with GlaxoSmithkline since 1994 and most recently served as Senior Vice-President, Project and Portfolio Management, Research and Development.

In a release, Dr Reddy's said that Dr Langer would be based at the company's offices in New Jersey.

Mr Cameron Reid, who currently heads Dr Reddy's North American operations, has expressed his desire to step down from the current position to pursue personal goals, the release said.
