The technology offers treatment for patients with myopia, hyperopia or mixed astigmatism the present technology can provide customised treatment for patients with myopia only. He said that the procedure optimises patient safety and incorporates an iris recognition technology, which is used by the military extensively to identify people by the iris pattern.
