Nadi Airtechnics in pact with US co

THE Chennai-based Nadi Airtechnics Pvt. Ltd has tied up with a US firm, Twin City Fan Company, to manufacture "high efficiency" industrial fans at a new facility on the city's outskirts. Twin City is also taking a 50 per cent equity stake in Nadi Airtechnics, whose equity now is Rs 1.7 crore.

The investment in the new facility would be Rs 3.5 crore, Mr J.B. Kamdar, Managing Director, Nadi Airtechnics, told presspersons here on Wednesday. The plant would manufacture industrial fans worth Rs 15 crore annually and most of it would be exported to the US. Exports worth Rs 1 crore would be made in the first fiscal year ending March 2005, he said.
