Memorial lecture

"A relook at the blueprints for independent India" (Business Line, January 22) has effectively presented P. R. Brahmananda's ideas on development and acknowledged his contribution to monetary economics. One is happy to know that the RBI Governor, Dr Y. V. Reddy, has announced that the apex bank is instituting an annual P. R. Brahmananda lecture.
