Internet Infocom database portal launched Our Bureau
Hyderabad , Jan. 26 INFOCOM Network Ltd., a B2B (business to business) database management services provider, has announced the launch of its online database portal - - www.trade-india.com - - that aims to expand its product portfolio including credit rating of importers and exporters, interactive voice messaging system and electronic catalogue design services. The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Infocom Network Ltd., Mr Bikky Khosla, said that the company started as a Yellow Pages company tracking the export and import houses across the country. Over the years, it has transitioned to a combination of brick and mortar and to online solutions. Given the current business traction, it sees the online business turning bigger as information seekers from across the world are looking at India for partnership and growing their business. Launching the company's 13th edition of Trade India Exporters Yellow Pages 2004, Mr Khosla said that while the directory was priced at Rs1,500, the CD version would be provided free with the directory making it easy for people to carry it across the world.
The company had 2.45 lakh registered users and over 2 lakh page views a day, he said.
