Global brands

The IITs and the IIMs are few of the most valued global brands India has created over the last three decades. Let those managing the HRD Ministry not destroy them by raising unnecessary and avoidable controversies.

Instead, let the HRD Ministry concentrate and produce results in the field of primary and secondary education where studies consistently show a poor performance by India compared to other developing countries. The Ministry should also understand that excellence cannot be "mass manufactured" overnight.
