Rubber declines

KOTTAYAM: Rubber rates declined as certain traders came forward to sell the stock on Wednesday. The continued absence of buyers created a panic among traders persuading them to press sales.

The TOCOM March features for RSS 3 moved down to Rs 58.75 against Rs 59.32 a kg at the previous closing.

The futures market continued the downtrend on Wednesday. The near month February delivery was quoted at Rs 50.15 (Rs 51.55), March delivery at Rs 51.75 (Rs 53.60), April delivery at Rs 54.79 (Rs 56.24), May delivery at Rs 56.74 (Rs 58.43) and June delivery at Rs 59.10 (Rs 60.30) per kg for RSS 4.
