Satnam Overseas net profit up 60 pc

SATNAM Overseas Ltd on Wednesday announced a 60 per cent increase in net profit, to Rs 3.31 crore up from Rs 2.07 crore, for the third quarter ended December 2003.

For the same period, the company's net sales have increased by 40 per cent at Rs 135.16 crore. The growth was led by branded sales of basmati rice and the foods division, according to a company communique.
