11 pc rise in Dabur turnover in Q3

DABUR India has posted a 47.4 per cent growth in its net profit, up from Rs 20.23 crore to Rs 29.81 crore, during the third quarter, which ended on December 31, 2003. The turnover during the corresponding period increased by 11.4 per cent, from Rs 301.51 crore to Rs 335.93 crore.

During the nine-month period, the company recorded a growth of 38.7 per cent in its net profit, which has grown from Rs 53.8 crore to Rs 74.61 crore. The turnover during this period has increased by 8.3 per cent from Rs 794.35 crore to Rs 860.05 crore.

"Overall, the company gained on account of new launches, stronger communication and better fiscal discipline during the quarter.
