UB Global hopes to make Rs 50-crore shoe exports

UB Global Corporation Ltd (UBGCL), the international business arm of the UB Group, has emerged as one of the largest exporters of fashion footwear from India.

During 2003-04, it hopes to report Rs 50 crore turnover from shoe exports as against Rs 39 crore in the previous year.

With a large customer base spread over 17 countries and 50 importers, UBGCL caters to the well-known international labels including Clarks of USA, Hush Puppies in Belgium and France, Bugatti in Italy, Fabiani in Germany, Roland Cartier & Land Rover in UK and Florsheim in Australia besides in-house brand names.
