MRO-TEK net up 73 pc in Q3

MRO-TEK has reported a 73-per cent increase in its net profit for the three-month-ended December 2003, while its revenue grew marginally over the corresponding previous quarter.

The net profit for the quarter under review stood at Rs 2.77 crore on total revenues of Rs 26.17 crore as against a net profit of Rs 1.60 crore on revenues of Rs 25.60 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Mr S. Narayanan, Chairman and Managing Director, MRO-TEK, said: "We began the fiscal year with a clear focus to achieve 20 per cent growth with operational excellence and provide customer satisfaction. We continue to grow in strength with our leased line digital modem, switching and routing businesses, as well as traction for our products in the Ethernet first mile. The service providers, carriers and financial institutions in particular, continue to be solid markets for our products."
