Interim Budget

This is with reference to the editorial "No surprises" (Business Line, February 4). The editorial rightly points out that the interim Budget has not surprised many and is as expected. Also, with the Reserve Bank of India allowing banks to issue long bonds to fund infrastructure projects there was no need to stop IDBI becoming a bank.
