National meet on meteorology, oceanography

Kochi , Feb. 4

THE School of Naval Oceanography and Meteorology, Southern Naval Command, in association with the Department of Atmospheric Sciences of the Cochin University of Science and Technology, will be organising a national symposium on `Emerging Trends in Meteorology and Oceanography' between February 5 and 6.

The Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command, Vice-Admiral Yashwant Prasad, PVSM, is scheduled to inaugurate the symposium, which is called METOC 2004, at Kochi on February 5.
