Workshop on ornamental fish at Kochi

THE School of Industrial Fisheries of the Cochin University of Science and Technology is organising a three-day workshop on breeding, farming and management of ornamental fishes here from February 27.

The objective of the workshop is to create awareness among postgraduate students, scholars and the teaching community including the extension workers of the government.

Dr A. Ramachandran, General Convenor, said the workshop would also provide a common platform for the huge body of recent research conducted all over the world.

Special sessions will be devoted to aquarium design, construction and maintenance ng and transportation of live ornamental fish.
