New chief for Hind Shipyard

THE Assistant Chief of the Naval Staff (policy and planning), Rear Admiral (retd) Ajit Tewari, on Tuesday assumed charge as the Chairman and Managing Director of the public sector Hindustan Shipyard Ltd here.

Commodore Janardhan, the in-charge CMC, handed over charge to him. Rear Admiral Tewari - a specialist in signals, communications and electronic warfare - had served the Navy for over 35 years.
