4G Informatics eyes security market space

4G INFORMATICS, a UK-based healthcare and biometric solutions provider with a development centre in Hyderabad, is eyeing the growing security market with its range of Iris biometric solutions for multiple use including airports and healthcare.

The President of 4G Informatics, Dr Srini Tripuraneni, told Business Line "increasingly more corporates and Government establishments are looking at newer security measures.

For instance, we have recently completed a pilot for Andhra Pradesh Government and are in the process of expanding its application to other departments.

"By March, we will deploy similar application for GAIL and expand the applicability to other areas in the State. This is just the beginning of the uptake of biometric technology in the country.
