Our Bureau

BANGALORE: SISA Information Security, the Bangalore-based info-security consultant, has entered into a strategic tie-up with the Software Engineering Institute and Carnegie Mellon University for the training and implementation of the latter's `Octave Information Security Risk Assessment.'

The Octave, endorsed by the US Department of Defence, is an approach for managing info security risks and serves as a risk-based strategic assessment and planning technique for security, according to Mr Dharshan Shanthamurthy, Director-Operations, SISA. SISA provides structured training in this method that will enable companies to implement the same process within their organisation.
