HCC bags NHAI order

HINDUSTAN Construction Co Ltd (HCC) has bagged an order from the National Highways Authority of India to execute a project involving four-laning of a 77 km stretch of highway in the Chandikhole-Paradip section in Orissa.

HCC is to complete the project within 36 months. The company, which has bagged a string of projects in the last few months, has an order book worth Rs 4,109 crore.

The recent projects it bagged include water supply pipeline in Andhra Pradesh, which will lift water from Godavari through a single pipeline, and construction of bunds over river Ganga at Munger, Bihar.
