Third set of financial management CDs launched

DR ANIL Lamba, a chartered accountant and a management expert, has launched his third set of 7 CDs, capturing the essence of financial management here, taking the total number to 15.

Speaking to Business Line, Dr Lamba said Lamcon Group, a privately held diversified consultancy firm of finance and management services, has diversified into online virtual training modules and was in the process of forging strategic alliances which will enable the group to offer online training in finance and management.

Dr Lamba told Business Line after the launch of the CDs at Walden store here these videos are based on training programmes on finance designed for corporates and individuals. .

Right from the basic concept of profit to making balance sheet, working capital management to stock market investments and IPOs and income tax issues, these training modules help a corporate CEO as also employees be conversant with the basics of finance and management. The 15 CDs cost about Rs 28,000 that is less than possibly a CEO spends for a days training programme. The advantage of these CDs is the entire company gains once somebody purchases.

Partnering with Dr Vijay Bhatkar, the man behind the Param supercomputer, Dr Lamba is in the process of extending an online education network in a franchisee model.
