ABB India has won Asiamoney's award for the Best Small Cap Company 2003.

Asiamoney's 12th annual best-managed companies poll was conducted across nearly 3,000 fund managers, chief investment officers and heads of research at fund management firms, insurance companies and brokerage houses in the Asia-Pacific region, Europe and North America, a news release said.

"This is an acknowledgement of the combined efforts made by the ABB India team and the strong performance that the company has posted over the last couple of years. The growth of ABB India has been acknowledged by the Group and all external stakeholders and is reflected in the stock valuations, which grew by around 170 per cent during 2003," the Chief Financial Officer, Mr K Rajagopal, said.
