German cultural activities to be revived in Hyderabad

THE Goethe Institute has decided to revive "some of the highlights of contemporary German cultural activities, besides offering certified German language courses," with the support of Max Mueller Bhavan and the German Consulate in Chennai.

The revival initiative saw setting up of German Cultural Association Hyderabad. Speaking to newspersons today, Ms Amita Desai, Project Director (Hyderabad) of the institute, said that there had been good demand for revival of activity.

The courses are accredited, formulated and facilitated by Max Mueller Bhavan (Chennai), while Goethe Institute would issue certificates. The association started a couple of batches last month.
