Windshield branch in Chennai

Our Bureau

CHENNAI: Windshield Experts, a company that replaces and repairs vehicle windshields, set up a branch in Chennai last month. The Chennai branch follows 10 branches spread around New Delhi and Punjab.

A press release said that Windshield Experts has tie ups with leading insurers. Mr S.R. Ranganathan, who heads the Chennai branch, said that it meant the company could assess the damage to a windshield and then take care of dealings with the insurers. Another benefit is that a policyholder could get the windshield repaired or replaced without having to pay cash.

Mr Ranganathan said a windshield could be repaired if the damaged area is less than the size of a five-rupee coin. He added the company offered a one-year warranty on its services.
