Geojit Financial to pay 15 pc interim

GEOJIT Financial Services Ltd, a joint venture company with the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation, has announced an interim dividend of 15 per cent for the current financial year.

After passing the accounts for the third quarter, the board of directors recommended the dividend at its meeting held on February 6. The total revenue of the company has almost doubled to Rs 26.2 crore (Rs 13.5 crore) for the first nine months period.

Profit after tax surged to Rs 6.62 crore, up from Rs 1.32 crore of the corresponding period of last year. Third quarter revenue also rose to Rs 11.6 crore (Rs 4.5 crore).
