Rubber market remains idle

THE rubber market remained idle on Wednesday. Sentiments were neutral in the absence of any trend setting factors. Sheet rubber RSS 4 closed at Rs 49.75 as on Tuesday.

Meanwhile RSS 3 declined to Rs 56.49 from Rs 56.61a kg at the Bangkok international market.

The futures market was almost steady on Wednesday. The near month March delivery was quoted at Rs 51.40 (Rs 51.60), April delivery at Rs 53.76 (Rs 53.74), May delivery at Rs 56.00 (Rs 55.98) and June delivery at Rs 57.90 (Rs 57.99) per kg for RSS 4.
