Pokarna begins trial production

HYDERABAD: Pokarna Ltd, engaged in the production of granite slabs and garments, has started trial production in its apparels division.

The manufacturing capacity of the plant, established here at a cost of Rs 20 crore, is 1,500 shirts per day.

According to the company's Managing Director, Mr Krishna Rao, the division will commence commercial production within a week.
