H.W. Bhatnagar to head BHEL

New Delhi , Feb. 12

MR Harsh Wardhan Bhatnagar, Director (IS&P), Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL), has been named to take charge as Chairman and Managing Director of the public sector engineering and power major, in addition to his current responsibilities.

A mechanical engineering graduate (1966) of University of Roorkee (now IIT Roorkee), Mr Bhatnagar joined BHEL in 1967 and rose to the position of Director, Industrial Systems & Products (IS&P) in October 2000. Mr Bhatnagar has made significant contributions in various key functions.
