Safexpress solution for apparel industry

Our Bureau

Bangalore , Feb. 17

SAFEXPRESS has unveiled a host of customised logistics and supply chain management (LSCM) solutions to support the apparel industry and allied segments at the Images Fashion Forum 2004. It is the largest platform for exchange of information for the fashion and retail business in the Indian subcontinent and West Asia.

Titled `Wrinkle Free Logistics', the company will provide a single window solution for all LSCM needs.

Mr Pawan Jain, Chairman and Managing Director, said, "LSCM has today become a strategic weapon to attain that cutting edge over your competitors. Our customised solutions such as `Wrinkle Free Logistics' address the emerging needs of the apparel and allied industries. The idea is to iron out the creases in the supply chain with apparel specific solutions."

The relevance of LSCM has assumed greater significance with leading brands in the readymade goods and raw material segment demanding value addition beyond mere supply chain management.

Safexpress offers customised solutions with models such as Direct to Retail and Replenishment that facilitate reduced inventory holding costs, elimination of shortage situations and no opportunity loss that has a direct impact on the bottomline of the customer.
