KEC Intl bags Rs 190-cr order

KEC International Ltd, which is engaged in power transmission, has received two orders worth Rs 190 crore from the domestic market.

According to a company press release, the first order is from the West Bengal State Electricity Board and involves setting up of 400 kV double circuit transmission lines from Purnea to Arambag.

The order, which is worth Rs 154.60 crore, envisages construction of 209 km transmission lines and 567 towers.

The second from APTransco involves construction of 45 km long 400 kV double circuit transmission lines. The order, worth about Rs 25 crore, is funded by Power Finance Corporation Ltd.
