Garg in charge of finance at Polaris US operations

CHENNAI: Mr Vinay Garg, a relative of Mr Arun Jain, Chairman and Managing Director, Polaris Software Lab Ltd, is to be appointed as Financial Controller of the company's US operations.

Mr Garg will hold the office for three years from April 1, 2004 or from such date as the Central Government may approve. Polaris will have to convene an EGM on March 12 for shareholders' consent, the company said.
