SBI installs cheque depository machine

Madurai , Feb. 17

STATE Bank of India has introduced a cheque-depository machine at its main branch in the city.

Account-holders of the bank need not any more waste time on filling challans to deposit their cheques for collection. The machine itself would carry out the process.

It is enough if they just drop the cheques into the machine.
