Accolades for Corpn Bank

MANGALORE: The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Credit Rating Information and Services India Ltd (Crisil), Mumbai, Mr R. Ravimohan, has complimented Corporation Bank for consistently maintaining the `AAA' rating.

Mr Ravimohan was addressing the executives of the bank at the head office here recently.

In a press release, Mr Ravimohan, said here on Thursday that the future of banking would throw challenges to the bankers.

He said that securitisation, which enhances capital efficiency, is an ideal tool for asset liability management.

The Chairman and Managing Director of the bank, Mr Cherian Varghese, who welcomed the gathering, recounted the long association of the bank with Crisil.
