Lufthansa to operate Delhi-Munich services

THE German airline, Lufthansa, has announced that it would start a three-times-a-week non-stop flight on the Delhi-Munich sector from March 29.

In a statement here on Thursday, the airline said that while initially, the flight will be operated with a Boeing 767-300 aircraft, it will switch over to an Airbus A-340-300 aircraft from June 7.

The new flight is scheduled to leave Munich at 7.05 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and arrive in Delhi at 5.45 a.m. the following day. In the return direction, the aircraft will leave Delhi at 9.30 a.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and arrive in Munich at 2.20 p.m.

Besides, from June 9, the airline is to offer the new business class multi-functional seat on the Delhi-Munich route.
