Wipro PCs with new Intel tech

WIPRO Infotech on Thursday launched a new SuperGenius range of desktops based on Intel Pentium 4 processorwith hyper-threading on high-volume 90-nanometer manufacturing technology. The new range of desktops with performance enhancing features is targeted at corporates and is useful for carrying out multi-tasking applications, said Mr Anil Jain, General Manager, personal computing products, Wipro Infotech.

The new range of PCs are priced at Rs 36,990. Wipro Infotech is the first Indian OEM to launch a PC-based on the Intel's new technology. The latest processor is among the six new offerings in Intel's line of desktop chips, bringing new features and high performance to a wide range of PC users, from mainstream consumers and business people to gaming enthusiasts and computer power users, said Mr G.B. Kumar, Director-sales, South Asia Intel.
