Sports CII cricket tourney Our Bureau
HYDERABAD: To mark its silver jubilee, the State chapter of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will organise `CII Silver Jubilee Corporate Cup Cricket tournament' from April 4 to "celebrate the spirit of competitiveness and team effort". "Teams representing several corporate houses would take part in the month-long tournament," a CII press release said here on Thursday. In the round robin tournament, toppers of each group would qualify for the knock out round, which would lead to quarter finals, semi finals and the final. Keeping in view the work schedules, all the matches would be played only during weekends. "While matches up to quarterfinals will have 20 overs, semi finals and final would have 30 overs," the release added.
