CMC gets bids twice the issue size

MUMBAI: The disinvestments of government stake in software company CMC also opened on a very optimistic note with the issue receiving bids more than two times the size of the issue.

CMC issue received bids for 87.37 lakh shares compared to the issue size of 39.76 lakh shares.

IPCL issue, which opened last week, also received very good response as the issue was sold on the first day.

The maximum bids received in CMC were at the floor price of Rs 475. In today's trading, CMC stock closed at Rs 530.25, down 2.55 per cent.
