BSE products to help Net trading

Our Bureau

Mumbai , Feb. 24

THE Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday launched two new products — Electronic Contract Notes (ECNs) and SpeedX Plus, a new Internet trading terminal for brokers and investors.

BSE in a statement said ECNs is for members of both BSE and NSE and allows them to issue contract notes-cum-bill to their investors through a simple file upload utility.

Brokers can also issue the contract note-cum-bill to their sub-brokers' investors through the same system. For this, a member requires a computer and the BSE software to go live, the statement said.

Speedx Plus is a new streaming quotes Internet trading terminal for members and investors. The system delivers real time BSE's trading capabilities similar to the online trading system.
