SOFTBRANDS Inc, a solutions provider for manufacturing businesses, has announced a move to team up with product teams at SAP AG, a major business software solutions provider, to address small-and-mid size manufacturers with a comprehensive management solution.

Both the companies unveiled plans to integrate Fourth Shift, SoftBrands' leading manufacturing software, into the SAP{lcub}logicalnot_shy{rcub} Business One product suite, in order to provide significant manufacturing functionality for the small-and-midsize market sector, says a company statement.

The President and Chief Operating Officer of SoftBrands Inc, Mr Randy Tofteland, in a statement said, "Potential customers of both companies stand to gain from Fourth Shift's functionality and SoftBrands' successful record of short implementation time, rapid return on investment (ROI) and value for money performance".
