MUMBAI: The Office of the Commissioner of Customs (Preventive), Mumbai sold 3,671 kg of confiscated silver (each of 30 kg bar) through offer for sale, sources said.

On Tuesday, the Customs Department invited sale offers on first-come-first-serve basis through its Mumbai-based Customs Retail Shop. However, the sale price was not available. "The sale price of confiscated silver will be worked out on basis of average prices of last three days," said a tender notice.
