Infrastructure Special purpose vehicle mooted for MMTS in Hyderabad Our Bureau
Hyderabad , Feb. 26 GIVING a boost to the Multi-Modal Transport System (MMTS) services in the State capital, the Railways and Andhra Pradesh Government will jointly float a special purpose vehicle (SPV) next month to monitor the huge MMTS network and other related issues. Disclosing this to newsmen here today, Mr Bandaru Dattatreya, the Union Minister of State for Urban Development and Poverty Alleviation, said the SPV would also look into the issue of combined rail-road ticket to attract more people to use the MMTS services. The Minister was addressing newsmen after inaugurating new railway station buildings at Falaknuma and Malakpet, which were taken up at a cost of Rs 1.50 crore and Rs 1.90 crore respectively.
