Apparel brand Buddy Davis plans overseas foray

BUDDY Davis, the high-end apparel brand from the LNJ Bhilwara Group, plans to expand to overseas markets such as Colombo, Kathmandu and the Gulf countries.

Mr Atul Agarwal, General Manager, said that the number of exclusive Buddy Davis stores would go up to 50 in India from the current level of 25. The brand has a turnover of Rs 15 crore and this is expected to go up to Rs 25 crore in the next fiscal. He said that the brand would be extended to new segments such as lingerie, thermal innerwear and fashion waistbands. The company also plans to introduce perfumes, deodorants and accessories such as belts, caps and bags. It has launched three collections for the coming summer.

Buddy Davis is owned by Maral Fashions, a division of the Rs 497-crore Maral Overseas Ltd, a group company of LNJ Bhilwara.
