THE Union Ministry of Coal & Mines, launched a special web page under the tile "Web of Life— Mines Safety" on Friday, with the objective of highlighting all issues relating to safety in coal mines.

This web page will provide a forum through which many countries can have a useful exchange of views on all aspects relating to safety in coal mines, thereby creating a participative approach in developing and designing an integrated risk management system with an extensive data base which would a useful tool in ensuring a climate of accident-free mining world-wide.
