SEI CMM 5 for EDS centre

CHENNAI: EDS, a global outsourcing services company, has announced that its India Solution Centre has achieved the Software Engineering Institute's (SEI) highest rating of Level 5 in its Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), which measures a company's software process effectiveness.

The assessment included application support projects covering production support, enhancements and development carried out in mainframe, mid-range, open systems and Web technologies in the domain of financial services, automotive, communications and internal systems, said a company release.

CMM is an internationally recognised standard of application development created by the Software Engineering Institute.
