Ambition drives Hero Honda sales up

New Delhi , March 1

LEADING two-wheeler manufacturer Hero Honda on Monday said that its volumes jumped by 52 per cent in February 2004 to 2,04,555 units from 1,34,763 units in the same month last year.

According to the company, its recently launched models, notably the Ambition 135, have helped boost sales.

Hero Honda's cumulative sales for the period April 2003 to February 2004 grew by 20 per cent to 18,77,976 units as compared to 15,61,815 units in the same period in the previous year.
