Farmers go on a rampage in AP

WARANGAL: Due to the drop in the prices of chilli, the agitated farmers in this district set ablaze the furniture of Warangal Grain Market (WGM).

Police on Monday said hundreds of farmers held a dharna in front of the market, demanding remunerative price.

Meanwhile, District Collector Mr Shiv Shanker met the farmers and assured them that their entire chilli stocks would be purchased through Markfed from Tuesday.
