ICFAI announces national faculty development programmes

AIMED at helping academicians update themselves with current developments in the economy, the ICFAI University has announced a series of three-day residential national faculty development programmes for academicians from across the country.

These programmes would begin at Ooty and Hyderabad from May 3 to May 12, the ICFAI University said in a press release here on Tuesday.

According to the ICFAI University, the objectives of the faculty development programs were not only to help academicians update themselves with current developments in the economy, but also enable them understand their impact on education, career opportunities and also provide a good platform for exchange of ideas and networking with the other participants.

The faculty development programmes at Ooty were aimed at principals/vice-principals of high schools, junior colleges, degree and engineering colleges and deans/directors of business schools.

The programme at Hyderabad was aimed at faculty members and heads of departments in degree, engineering colleges and business schools.
